  2.    Welcome to issue 1.1 of Amy PD and Shareware Review.
  3. It's issue 1.1 as issue 1 had some minor errors such as this
  4. file lacking the directory file list at the end of this
  5. documentation despite announcing it.  The following
  6. paragraph also failed to mention that ½ meg. users would
  7. have no music.  The changes to the magazine are very minor
  8. such as a button being given it's correct name and the odd
  9. bit of text being corrected.  I also forgot to include the
  10. Arp library - see below.  If you have both issues then
  11. please spread this one instead of issue 1.
  12.    Just click on the magazine's icon to run it.  If it fails
  13. to load due to lack of memory then try shutting down all
  14. other programs running and closing any windows that don't
  15. need to be open.  If this fails then try auto-booting from
  16. the magazine disk.  On a 1.3 A500 with half meg. of ram it
  17. will auto-boot but without any music.  It has been tested
  18. on a 1 meg. A500 and the A600 with no problems.  If it auto-
  19. boots but doesn't run from the workbench then maybe it's due
  20. to you having altered the contents of your workbench disk at
  21. some time.
  22.    You can test whether the disk has a read-write error by
  23. attempting to copy it to another disk using the workbench's
  24. DiskCopy.  If it copies OK then the disk is probably not
  25. damaged and you have either a memory problem or a
  26. compatibility problem - assuming no one has moved or altered
  27. any files.  If you are a subscriber and after trying all the
  28. above you are still having problems then please get in touch
  29. with CyberCraft and give as much details as possible
  30. relating to your problem.
  31.    Workbench 1.3 users.  The magazine uses the Arp library
  32. file requester if available for saving text or graphics.  If
  33. you auto-boot the magazine Arp is used but unless it is in
  34. your libs directory on your worbench disk a very simple
  35. requester is used when the magazine is run from Workbench
  36. and you will have to type in full path names.  From the CLI
  37. you can copy the Arp library from the libs directory on the
  38. magazine's disk to your Workbench's libs directory.  Make
  39. sure you are working with a copy of your Workbench disk if
  40. you do this and that there is enough space on it for the Arp
  41. library.

  51. and without any alterations.  The only parts of the magazine
  52. that may be removed and distributed separately are those
  53. which are clearly of public domain origin.  None of the text
  54. is public domain.  Those parts of the magazine which are not
  55. public domain may only be saved to disk or printed out for
  56. your own personal use.

  63. Public Domain Libraries...
  64.    You may include the magazine in your library as long as
  65. it is sold in it's present unmodified form and you charge no
  66. more for it than you charge for normal public domain
  67. software.  The same conditions apply to electronic bulletin
  68. boards.
